INTRODUCTION

The upcoming book which was titled as “GLOBAL ECONOMY IN THE AGE OF POPULISM: TRADE WARS OF WORLD LEADING ECONOMIC POWERS: USA CHINA AND THE EU AND ITS EFFECTS TO THE WORLD ECONOMY” is making an effort in investigating the present and future developments in the global economy. After 2000, the global economy had witnessed its golden days until the 2008 global financial and economic crisis. The results of the global economic and financial crisis were devastating and destructive all around the world. Foremost the USA economy took significant damage when the crisis went into Europe, and it became a foreign debt crisis that influences European economies, including Iceland, Ireland, Greece, Spain, Italy. Consequently, the economic crises gave impetus to social uprisings and protest, and this led to giving populist and nationalist politicians the advantage to take the government to control. First, Donald Trump “First USA Policy,” then, European populist and anti-EU politicians including, Le Pen, Wilders, Salvini, and Nigel Farage attack the post-war global economic order and structures like the European Union to destroy and vanish the full benefits and wealth of globalization process. The 2008 crisis was the first and most destructive crisis of capitalism in the 21st century when it compared the 1929 Great Depression. However, the political and sociological results can be discussed similarly. The 2008 economic and financial crisis was similar to cause rising of populist politicians all around the world, but it is different to break out in the age of 4th industrial revolution. The technologic advantages and opportunities of the 4th industrial revolution brought changes radically everyday life of humankind in every area. Therefore, it can be suggested that the new age will be the clash of populists who demand more nations and more limitations and the liberals who demand more freedom, technology, and wealth. Due to the incompatible tone among the populist politics and 4th industrial revolution technologies, this led to nations to disintegrate in the fields of economy and take necessary precautions to protect their countries under the shadow of populism which is caused trade wars between world-leading economies.
